Alaiia (Alaya) Gujral is an artist, producer, curator, and designer who utilizes her creativity, savvy, and international influence to create work that accelerates the development of art and culture of Chicago, and beyond.
Alaiia looks to express herself using combinations of materials like fabric, paper and ceramic through the process of Indigo dyeing. The website is designed to recreate the experience of the process through circles, slow transitioning gradients, and traces of text.
